Winner Alphonso Chestnut is $1,000 richer since buying a winning Cash Bonanza Riches ticket! The Lynchburg resident hasn’t decided how he’ll use his prize. Chestnut bought his ticket at A & J Grocery in Lynchburg. According to Chestnut, the Lottery’s support of education is a good thing because it helps others.
 
Winner Sh-Quaila Peters, of Rowland, just won $10,000 playing Powerball®! Peters bought her lucky ticket at Sunoco Coop #2639 in Dillon. She thinks the Lottery’s support of education is a positive means of gaining more revenue for education in South Carolina.
 
Winner Starry Ogle, of Hopkins, was excited when she won $509 playing Powerball®. She bought her ticket at Kangaroo Express #822 in Columbia. Ogle picked her lucky numbers by using the birthdates and ages of some family members. She believes it’s a wonderful idea to have Lottery funds support education.
 
Winner Kandie White quick picked her Palmetto Cash 5 numbers at Quick Mart in Rock Hill and won $600. A resident of Rock Hill, White is not sure what she’ll buy with her winnings.
