Winner Carolyn D. Clement, of West Columbia, first told her husband she won $1,000 playing Cool Cash Bonus. She purchased her ticket from the Kangaroo Express #442 in West Columbia. Clement believes the Lottery’s support of education is a great idea.
 
Winner “Wow, I won!” said a surprised Tim McCorkle after winning $535 playing Powerball®. McCorkle, of Fort Mill, first shared the good news with his best friend. He purchased his ticket from Indianland Amoco in Fort Mill. McCorkle thinks the Lottery’s support of education is a good thing.
 
Winner Melanie Rylan Hung, of Gastonia, NC, first told her boyfriend she won $1,000 playing Cool Cash Bonus. “I was so excited,” she said. She purchased her ticket from Shergill Food Mart in Blacksburg. In regards to the Lottery’s support of education, Hung thinks it is wonderful that the money goes for a good cause.
 
Winner Joe Bukowski, of Fort Mill, won $20,000 playing Powerball®. He is looking forward to purchasing a new set of golf clubs. In addition, he also plans to buy his wife some new furniture and help his two sons with their college tuition. Bukowski believes the Lottery’s support of education is a good idea. Bukowski’s ticket was purchased from Bi-Lo #720 in Fort Mill.
