Winner The first person Gary Rodriguez, of Lancaster, told when he won $1,206 playing Palmetto Cash 5 was his sister! He plans to have fun with his winnings! Rodriguez purchased his winning ticket from The Forks in Lancaster. Rodriguez feels the Lottery’s support of education is great!
 
Winner Dorothy Reid couldn’t wait to tell her friend she won $1,120 playing Pick 3. A Charlotte, NC native, Reid purchased her lucky lottery ticket from Circle K Stores #5116 in Fort Mill. When asked about her thoughts concerning the Lottery, she replied, “I think it is the best for the children.”
 
Winner Gwendolyn Copeland couldn’t wait to tell her father she won $5,000 playing Red Hot 7’s. A Sumter native, Copeland purchased her lucky lottery ticket from Cherryvale Grocery in Sumter. When asked about her feelings of lottery dollars being used to support education she states, “It’s one of the best things the politicians have done.”
 
Winner The first person Dawn Sumner, of Sumter, told when she won $1,000 playing Cash Bonanza Riches was her boyfriend! She has not decided on how she would like to spend her winnings! Sumner purchased her winning ticket from Evergreen’s #123 in Irmo.
