Winner The first person Dawn Newby, of McBee, told when she won $900 playing Palmetto Cash 5 was her husband! Newby purchased her winning ticket from 1st Stop in Hartsville. When asked about the Lottery’s support of education, Newby commented, “I think it is a great thing.”
Winner Richard Easter, of Columbia, was happy to discover he won $500 playing Powerball®. He plans on using some of his winnings to purchase a DVD player. Easter bought his lucky ticket from Solid Gold Beauty Supply in Columbia.
Winner After scratching a Cash Bonanza Riches instant ticket, Carl Farmer was surprised to learn he won $1,000! A Chester resident, Farmer has decided to use his winnings to travel to Texas. He purchased his lucky ticket from Gene’s Kwik Stop in Chester.
