Winner “Lottery dollars help pay my tuition in school,” said James Patterson, of Sumter, when he claimed his $20,000 win on the instant ticket Cool Cash Bonus. Patterson purchased his ticket at Persimmon Hill in Sumter.
 
Winner “It takes a lot of worry off of me,” said Dorothy Lipscomb, of Greenville, regarding her recent lottery win. She won $20,000 on Cool Cash Bonus. Lipscomb purchased her ticket at Tony’s Liquor Store in Greenville. “I think it [the Lottery’s support of education} is an excellent idea,” she said.
 
Winner “My husband and I can take a vacation,” said Judith Gilmer, of Donalds. She won $20,000 on Cool Cash Bonus. One reason Gilmer plays the Lottery is because lottery dollars support education. She purchased her ticket at Dill’s Quick Shop in Honea Path.
 
Winner James Griffin, of Charlotte, NC, is a repeat winner with the South Carolina Education Lottery. Previously, he won $200. Griffin recently won $1,000 playing Carolina Millionaires Club. He purchased his ticket at Carowinds Convenience in Fort Mill. Griffin believes the Lottery’s support of education is a good thing.
