Winner While checking his Palmetto Cash 5 ticket, Bill Long, of Midland, NC, was ecstatic to learn he won $602. Long picked his numbers using a combination of birthdates and important dates in his life. He purchased his lucky lottery ticket from Panhandle Food Store in Fort Mill.
Winner “I didn’t believe them at first,” said Helen McLucas, of McColl. “People in the store heard me screaming,” she said after winning $5,000 playing Pick 4. McLucas plans on paying medical bills with her recent winnings, She purchased her ticket from Nics Pic Kwik 10 in McColl. “I think it’s great that it helps kids,” said McLucas regarding the Lottery’s support of education.
Winner Frushunda Turner, of Rock Hill, was shocked when she won $1,000 playing the Carolina Gold instant ticket! “Now I can take care of my family,” Turner said. Turner bought her lucky ticket from Elliott’s Exxon in Rock Hill.
