Winner Tosha Dennis, of Pinewood, was overjoyed to learn she won $2,500 playing Money Clip. “I plan to buy my children stuff for school and fix my car,” said Dennis. She purchased the ticket from Sumter IGA Plus in Sumter.“I think it’s wonderful to help educate kids,” said Dennis regarding the Lottery’s support of education.
Winner Algeria Ervin, of Rock Hill, was happy to learn she won $900 playing Palmetto Cash 5. She plans to go shopping and share some of her winnings with her parents. Ervin purchased the lucky lottery ticket from Saluda Discount Food & Beverage in Rock Hill.Ervin, who has a son going to college soon, believes the Lottery’s support of education is good.
Winner Betsy McGlothlin, of Dublin, Va., was surprised to learn she won $1,000 playing Carolina Gold. She plans to take a vacation to the beach with her recent winnings. McGlothlin purchased the ticket from Mr. Waffle Truck Stop in Blacksburg.
Winner Emily Banks, of Sumter, was happy to see she won $2,600 playing Pick 4. She plans to buy herself a new pair of glasses. Banks purchased the lucky lottery ticket from Yogi Stop in Sumter. “I think it [the Lottery’s support of education] is definitely needed,” said Banks.
