Winner Jason Capps, of North Augusta, was pleased to learn he won $1,000 playing the $100,000 Club instant ticket! He plans to use the winnings to purchase some additional items for his upcoming wedding. Capps purchased his ticket from Publix Super Markets #587 in Columbia.
 
Winner “I love it,” said Joseph Boone regarding the Lottery’s support of education. A Rock Hill native, Boone was elated to learn he won $600 playing Palmetto Cash 5. He has not decided what he will do with his recent winnings. Boone purchased his lucky lottery ticket from Corner Store in Rock Hill.
 
Winner Darlene Whatley, of Darlington, was thankful to win $600 playing Pick 4. With her winnings, she plans to purchase school clothes for her children and make a donation to her church. Whatley purchased her lucky ticket from Daily Stop in Darlington.
 
Winner “It was a wonderful feeling. It always is,” said Dr. Maxie Gordon Jr., of Columbia, after winning $1,000 playing Carolina Millionaires Club. “I can pay my car note,” said Gordon. He also plans to share some of his winnings with his family and give some to his church. Gordon purchased his lucky lottery ticket from Corner Pantry #136 in Columbia.
