Winner “Thank you,” voiced an elated Bruce Young, of Kings Mountain, NC, after winning $10,000 playing Junior Jumbo Bucks. He plans to pay bills and share some of the winnings with his family. Young purchased the ticket from Hickory Point #35 in Blacksburg.
 
Winner “Wow,” said Leonard Perry, of Rock Hill, when he won $2,700 playing Pick 4! Perry plans to purchase some items for both his newborn baby and his other children. He purchased his lucky lottery ticket from Quick Food Mart in Rock Hill.“I think it [the Lottery’s support of education] is a very good thing,” Perry said.
 
Winner The first person Ida Sanders, of Columbia, told when she won $1,000 playing $250,000 Taxes Paid was her best friend. Sanders plans to pay bills with her winnings. She purchased her lucky ticket from Pantry Express #605 in Columbia.
 
Winner After scratching a Carolina Gold instant ticket, Lester Davis was in total disbelief. “It just could not be true,” he said after winning $1,000. A Union native, Davis plans to pay bills with his winnings. He purchased his lucky lottery ticket from The Country Store in Union. Davis feels the Lottery’s support of education is a great idea.
