Winner After checking her Palmetto Cash 5 ticket, Jan Granger, of Florence, described the feeling as pure surprise. She won $900 and has not decided what she would like to do with her winnings. Granger purchased the lucky lottery ticket from Gay Ann Superette in Lamar. “I believe it is money well spent,” said Granger referencing the Lottery’s support of education.
Winner The first person Michael Duncan, of Kannapolis, NC, told when he won $900 playing Palmetto Cash 5 was his fiancée! He plans to use his winnings to help pay for his wedding. Duncan purchased his lucky lottery ticket from Raceway Express #2 in Lancaster. “I think it [the Lottery’s support of education] is a great idea,” said Duncan. “Education is very important.”
Winner “Oh my, I can’t believe it,” gasped Latoya Collins, of Rains, after winning $1,000 playing Hidden Treasure. She plans on buying some supplies for her computer and some clothes. Collins purchased the ticket from T-Mart, Inc. in Marion. “I think it’s great,” said Collins regarding the Lottery’s support of education.
Winner After scratching a Carolina Gold instant ticket, Patricia Davis was tickled to learn she had won $1,000. A native of Clover, Davis is looking forward to purchasing some groceries and fuel. She purchased her lucky ticket from South Main Mustang in Clover.
