Winner “Miracles do happen,” thought Debbie Matis, of Kershaw, when she won $5,000 playing Pick 4. For now she plans to save the winnings. Matis purchased the lucky lottery ticket from Yogi Food Mart in Kershaw.
 
Winner After scratching a Cool Cash Bonus instant ticket, William Duncan was elated to learn he won $1,000. A native of Jonesville, NC, Duncan wanted to share the great news with everyone. He purchased the ticket from Marvin’s in Myrtle Beach. Duncan believes the Lottery’s support of education is great.
 
Winner “Oh my gosh,” exclaimed Ronesha Mackey, of Flat Rock, NC, after winning $2,600 playing Pick 4. She plans on sharing some of her winnings with her family and church. Mackey purchased her lucky ticket from Diamond B Kwik Shops T2 in Landrum. “It’s great that extra money goes to someone trying to better themselves,” said Mackey regarding the Lottery’s support of education.
 
Winner “I did not believe it,” said Robert Carroll, of Kannapolis, NC, after winning $1,000 playing Emerald Dollars. Carroll plans to save a portion of his winnings and share the rest with his family. Carroll purchased his ticket from Sam’s Mart #21 in Fort Mill.
