Winner Henry Monds, of Charlotte, NC, immediately asked the clerk how much he had won playing Palmetto Cash 5. The winning $600 ticket was purchased from Quick C #107 in Rock Hill. He thinks the Lottery’s support of education is great for the schools.
Winner “Money in the bank!” exclaimed Randy Burke, of Erlanger, KY, after winning $1,000 on a $100,000 Club instant ticket. Burke bought his lucky ticket from The Rocket Group in Fort Mill.
Winner Jerry Allen Burkett, of Seneca, was in complete shock after finding out he won $20,000 playing a Carolina Millionaires Club instant ticket! After purchasing some property and going on vacation, Burkett plans to share his winnings with his family. He purchased his winning ticket at the Bountyland Quick Stop #3 in Seneca. “It helps kids get a good education,” said Burkett regarding the Lottery’s support of education.
Winner After scratching a $100,000 Club instant ticket, David Tiedemann was surprised to learn he won $1,000. A native of Cassatt, Tiedemann is planning on using his winnings to pay bills. He purchased the ticket from Publix Super Markets #512 in Lexington. Tiedemann believes the Lottery’s support of education is good for South Carolina schools.
