Winner "You never really think that it could happen to you," Angel Stanley, of Fayetteville, N.C., said when claiming her $5,000 prize in Powerball on April 25. Her winning ticket was purchased from Food Chief in Latta.
Winner Thomas Ferrell, of Lakeland, Fla., won $100,000 in Powerball. Ferrell, who claimed his winnings April 25, purchased his ticket from Petro Express #47 in Lake Wylie.
Winner Timothy Martin, of Columbia, got his work week off to a great start. At 5 a.m. on a Monday he found out he won $10,000 playing the instant game 10 Times Lucky. Martin, who claimed his prize April 25, purchased his lucky ticket from S-Mart #119 in Columbia.
Winner Nathaniel Pleasant, of Pinewood, won $660 playing Palmetto Cash 5. Pleasant, who said it feels "good to win," claimed his prize April 25. His winning ticket was purchased from Youngs Food Stores in Pinewood.
