Winner Ray Donald Hooper, of Ridgeway,Virginia, made a deposit into his savings account. That's because he won $5,000 on Powerball. Hooper claimed his prize on September 2. He purchased his ticket at Kountry Mart #1 while passing through the Palmetto State.
Winner Hazel Hancod was very happy to win $1,000 on August 24, 2004. He won playing the SC Education Lottery’s instant ticket, Carolina Payout. He plans to use his new winnings to “pay bills.” This is his first time winning with the lottery. The winning ticket was purchased at #219856 Citgo Food Mart.
Winner Sandra Hodges of Charleston, SC won big on August 30, 2004. Her winnings totaled $75,000 after playing SCEL’s Giant Jumbo Bucks. Ms. Hodges said she was “shocked” after winning such a large amount of money. She plans to use her new winnings to pay “bills” and “go on vacation.” Her new found wealth will surely make those goals possible! The winning ticket was purchased at the Food Mart on Savannah Highway in Charleston, SC.
Winner On August 30, 2004, Constance Wright of Charleston, SC screamed for joy when she won $2700 with the SC Education Lottery’s Pick 4. The numbers she said, “Just came up!” This was her first win with the lottery. Ms. Wright plans to use her new winning to “pay some bills.” The winning ticket was purchased at a BiLo in Mount Pleasant, SC.
