Winner Getting in her car and crossing south of the border paid off for Martha Brown. The Charlotte woman won $2,900 playing Pick 4 -- using the numbers from her license plate for inspiration. She claimed her prize September 8, and plans to share it with her family. The ticket was purchased at The Rocket Group in York.
 
Winner Four numbers netted Alice Richbow, of Rembert, $2,700. Her winnings from Pick 4 was just the thing she needed to pay some overdue bills, she said. Richbow claimed her prize September 8. The ticket was purchased at the Kangaroo store #3417 in Sumter.
 
Winner Tony Sanders, of Bamberg, cruised to a $2,600 prize in Pick 4. That's because the source of his winning number was his cabin number from a recent cruise. He claimed his prize September 3. Sanders' winning ticket was purchased at Express Lane in Orangeburg.
 
Winner Lawrence R. Jackson Sr. won't forget his visit to South Carolina. The Glenolden, Pa., man won $100,000 taxes paid playing Carolina 5. Jackson, who claimed his prize August 30, said he was happy, but shocked, about his win. He plans to buy a home and pay bills with his prize money. He purchased his lucky ticket at Santee General in Santee.
