Problems logging in or submitting entries

Q: I forgot my password. What should I do?

A: Click here for help in retrieving your password.

Q: My password is not being accepted when I try to log in.

A: Your password is case sensitive, so you must type it in exactly the way you did when you registered. If you have not registered, you must do so before you can log in and submit entries. To register, click the "Register/Update" link within the menu or click the "Register Here" graphic on the summer promotion homepage and follow the instructions.

Q: My ticket number is not being accepted when I try to SUBMIT ENTRY. Where do I find the ticket numbers to enter?
A: The ticket numbers to be entered are the 3-digit GAME NUMBER and the 12-digit VALIDATION NUMBER.

GAME NUMBER: The 3-digit game number is at the start of the barcode in the lower right portion of the ticket BACK.

  •$2 Air Escape tickets are Game Number 270

  •$5 Sea Escape tickets are Game Number 271

  •$10 Land Escape tickets are Game Number 272.

NO OTHER SCEL TICKETS QUALIFY FOR THIS PROMOTION. The 3-digit number on the ticket FRONT in the white box is NOT to be entered in the promotion.

VALIDATION NUMBER: The 12-digit VALIDATION NUMBER is found under the scratch-off coating at the bottom of the ticket FRONT. It may be necessary to remove additional scratch-off coating in order to view all twelve (12) digits in the validation number. The numbers found on the ticket BACK are NOT the numbers to be entered.

Q: Why did I get the message “The system does not recognize this entry”?
A: Only three games are qualified entries into the Summer Escape™ promotion: $2 Air Escape (game #270), $5 Sea Escape (game #271), and $10 Land Escape (game #272). Your entry must consist of at least $10 worth of these tickets. The only possible entry combinations are:
* $10 Land Escape
* $5 Sea Escape + $5 Sea Escape
* $2 Air Escape + $2 Air Escape + $2 Air Escape + $2 Air Escape + $2 Air Escape
* $5 Sea Escape + $2 Air Escape + $2 Air Escape + $2 Air Escape
The system will not allow an entry that does not fit one of these entry combinations. Check that the correct 3-digit game number (listed above) and 12-digit validation number (front of the ticket under the scratch-off coating) were entered for each ticket. Note: The 3-digit number on the ticket front in the white box is NOT to be entered in the promotion.

Q: What should I do if I encounter a problem?

A: Go to the FEEDBACK page to let us know what problem you are experiencing.
We will assist you via return email. The more details you can provide about your problem, the better chance we will have of quickly working through the issue.

Changing personal information or entries

Q: How do I update my email address or other personal information that I submitted when I registered?

A: First, click on LOG IN/SUBMIT ENTRY and log in with your existing email address and password. Then, click on REGISTER/UPDATE to get to your account information page. Make the necessary changes on your information page, then click the SUBMIT button to make the changes effective.

Questions about entries and tickets

Q: Can I enter a drawing more than one time?

A: Yes. There is no limit to the number of entries you may submit. However, only ONE entry is allowed per $10 worth of Summer Escape™ 2008 non-winning tickets, either online or by mail. Entries found to have been mailed in and also submitted online will be disqualified.

Q: I have tickets that I can't remember whether or not I have entered in the drawing. How can I see what tickets I have entered?

A: Each time you submit an entry, it is recorded at the bottom of the SUBMIT ENTRY screen. All of the entries you have successfully entered are listed for your information and reference, so you can check the list against the tickets you are holding.

Q: How can I be sure that my Internet entry has been submitted?

A: When you submit your entry, a record of it shows up at the bottom of the SUBMIT ENTRY page. If the entry is listed, you can be assured that it is in the system.

Q: Once I have entered my tickets online, must I hold on to the tickets or may I discard them?
A: Once you have entered your ticket numbers online and checked that the entry is listed at the bottom of the SUBMIT ENTRY page, you may discard your tickets.

Q: Can I double my chances to win by entering a ticket on the Internet and then mail it in as an entry?

A: No. An Internet entry is not eligible to be mailed in, and vice versa.

Entries that are found to have been mailed in and also submitted on the Internet will be disqualified.

Q: I would rather mail in my tickets. How do I do that?

A: Check the ticket back, the Summer Escape™ 2008 homepage, or the Official Rules for instructions on how and where to mail in your entry.

Q: Can I delete my entry from the SUBMIT ENTRY page?

A: Yes. You can delete an entry before the drawing deadline for that entry.

Q: Are my entries valid for all drawings?
A: Yes. Entries are valid for all drawings.

Questions about the length of the Summer Escape™ 2008 Second-Chance Promotion

Q: When will the last Grand Prize be drawn? How many total prizes will be awarded during the contest? What is the last day to enter the contest?

A: A total of four grand prizes will be awarded during the Summer Escape™ 2008 Promotion. The deadline for the third Grand Prize Event is August 8, 2008. The fourth and final grand prize will be drawn sometime after the last day to sell the Land Escape ticket. As long as the $10 Land Escape ticket is available for purchase, players may continue to enter the final drawing. The exact final drawing deadline and draw date will be posted when the last date to sell tickets is announced.

Players wishing to check the end of game dates may do so by:
1) Clicking the Prizes Remaining Report;
2) Clicking on individual games on the Instant Games page of the website; or
3) Checking the weekly end of games list posted on the play station.

Availability of prizes may vary depending on end of game requirements.

Questions about winners

Q: What are my chances of winning a prize in a second-chance drawing?

A: Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible entries received.
