Ashley Landess, Secretary
E. Ashley Landess was born in Spartanburg, S.C. She has also lived in Dallas, Washington, D.C. and Chicago. She has a journalism degree from the University of North Texas. Her sixteen-year career in communications includes a public policy background as well as consulting work for private businesses and charitable organizations. She is currently the Executive Director at the South Carolina Policy Council Education Foundation, a non-profit, non-partisan public policy research organization located in Columbia. Ms. Landess writes an opinion column that is published twice monthly in newspapers across the state, and recently served as a member of Governor Sanford’s Health Care Task Force.
