
James J. Bailey, Jr., Vice Chairman
James J. Bailey, Jr. (Jimmy) is a native South Carolinian, born and raised in Charleston. He graduated from Porter-Gaud High School, earned his undergraduate from the University of South Carolina, and is a graduate of the South Carolina Bankers School and the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University. From 1998 until 2005, Jimmy held several positions at The National Bank of South Carolina where he also served as the NBSC Employee Campaign Coordinator the Trident United Way in 2001. Jimmy now serves as the Vice President of Community Services for Daniel Island, an award winning master planned development in the city of Charleston. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Daniel Island, the Porter Gaud Alumni Association Board of Directors, and serves as Treasurer of Charleston Family and Youth. He and his wife are members of St. Philips Episcopal Church.
