What is Add-A-Play?

Add-A-Play is a group of online games that play like Instant Games and are generated by the lottery terminal at the time of purchase.

Match any of your symbols to the winning symbol for that row, win prize shown for that symbol. You could win up to four times!

1. For an extra $1 per play, the lottery terminal randomly generates an Add-A-Play game ticket when you purchase one or more of these online games Pick 3, Pick 4 and Palmetto Cash 5.

2. Add-A-Play play styles and winning symbols will change as new Add A Play games are introduced. Follow the directions printed on the Add-A-Play ticket to determine if the ticket is a winner.

3. Cash prizes range from $2 to $500. The top prize a player can win on one play is $500.

4. Players can elect to play up to five Add-A-Play games on one online ticket. All prizes won on a single online ticket are totaled for that ticket when redeemed.

5. Each Add-A-Play game is time-stamped when printed. Please verify that your ticket was printed at the time of purchase.

Add-A-Play games CANNOT be canceled.
Players have 180 days from date of sale to claim a prize.

The number of prizes and total value of prizes may vary depending on the actual number of tickets printed, designated or available in the Add-A-Play game. Prizes also will vary as winning tickets are sold and claimed.

Claiming Prizes

There are three ways to claim a prize:

1. At authorized Lottery Retailers - Any winning ticket up to and including $500.

2. By mail - Winning tickets up to and including $100,000 may be redeemed by mail. The back of the winning ticket must the signed and accompanied by an official South Carolina Education Lottery claim form. Claim forms are also available at any authorized South Carolina Education Lottery retailer. NOTE: A copy of a picture identification card (state I.D., driver's license, or military I.D.) is required or all winnings over $500. Winnings over $100,000 must be claimed in person at one of our Claims Offices.

3. At Claims Offices - Any winning ticket up to and including $1.5 million may be claimed in person at one of our Claims Offices. Winning tickets over $1.5 million must be brought in person to the Columbia Claims Office listed for redemption.

The risk of mailing tickets remains with the player. Registered mail is recommended.
Prizes for online tickets must be claimed within 180 days of the draw date printed on the ticket.
Prizes for instant tickets must be claimed within 90 days after the game ends. The official end of the different instant games will be posted at retail locations as well as on the Commissions website.
